Established in 2014 to build a supportive creative community locally and to answer the burgeoning call of the maker movement in the lower Westchester (Rivertowns, Hastings, Dobbs Ferry, Irvington, Sleepy Hollow, Bronxville, Tuckahoe, Ardsley, Mt. Vernon, Scarsdale, Eastchester) / Riverdale / Bronx / Inwood / Washington Heights regions of New York and Manhattan, Yonkers Pottery is a well-lit, fully-equipped community ceramics studio offering one-day to 8-week long wheel-throwing and handbuilding (& Sculpture) clay classes for those with beginner to advanced experience.

In Fall of 2026, we will start offering monthly Sip And Paint Nights.

We also rent workspace to serious and knowledgeable clay artists, ceramists and potter hobbyists.

• 10 potter's wheels (9 Shimpo VL-Whisper & 1 Brent CXC)
• 2 large hand-building tables
• extruder
• small slab-roller
• 20+ studio glazes 
• Oxide & Mason Stain Washes, Porcelaineous Slip
• Occasionally we have underglazes & ceramic decals available for students to try.
• 2 stocked stoneware clays (Standard #182G-Angel White & Standard #308-Brooklyn Red
